Big Rock Motel - Campbell River

The bed was comfortable, ensuring I had restful nights after long days exploring Campbell River.

There was no kettle in the room, a surprising omission for a roadside motel.

The amazing ocean view from my room was a highlight. I loved being able to step out and enjoy the beauty right outside my window. The room itself was spacious, clean, and equipped with a fridge and microwave. The bed provided a great night's sleep, and the bathroom was well-maintained. Good water pressure in the shower is a plus! The sound traveled quite easily from neighboring rooms, which could be distracting. Though I managed to sleep well at night, it would be better with more soundproofing. The absence of a kettle was surprising for a roadside motel, as I didn't have a way to make my morning cup of tea. There were no daily housekeeping services, so I had to ask for clean towels at the front desk.

Hotel overlooked sea and the room was reasonably large. The room we had included coffee and a kitchen area. All the personnel was helpful and knowledgeable. The location of the venue was particularly good and comfy, right across from the bay. Also, Rotary Sea Walk was just a short distance away...

The rooms are cool and quiet, have clean bathroom. Staff is helpful and you can park your car on site. The property's location is good and comfortable, not far from the beach and walking path and the waters edge.

Solo travelers, good value spot

This place had a surprisingly comfortable bed, and I was able to catch some quality rest! The ocean breeze was refreshing and actually made up for the lack of AC.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but it was still an acceptable rate given the amenities.

Well, it was a COMFORTABLE stay for the night during our trip. The location was favourable and convenient, not far from Campbell River, beach across the street and the waters edge. Furthermore, in the area.

Impressed by the well-maintained room, with a clean bathroom and good water pressure. Perfect for a family retreat, though the lack of soundproofing between rooms was noticeable. Good location near the shoreline walk made it easy to explore local sights.

Lovely Ocean View and Comfortable Room

The room was spacious and clean. I found it disappointing that there was no kettle in the room for tea in the morning.

We loved the proximity to the beach and the clean room. The kids enjoyed visiting Discovery Pier, and the staff was friendly. It was a great spot for a family stay, and the ocean breeze kept us comfortable despite the lack of AC.

My wife says that the lack of basic amenities made it tough with kids.

Good place with its free Wi-Fi, clean non-smoking rooms, and convenient dryer. The staff was helpful with directions on my first stay. I highly recommend it, and I'm coming back for Easter!
